Most “what is threat intelligence” pages are written in the US or Europe for buyers of six-figure platforms. Defenders in Kenya still need IOCs, phishing URLs, and a way to see whether a hostname on a certificate is already known-bad.

Watch public malware and phishing infrastructure on the IOC dashboard.

This is not the National KE-CIRT and it is not a substitute for incident response retainers. It is open technical intelligence you can actually load.

What does threat intel do?

Threat intelligence turns raw signals — malicious IPs, phishing URLs, malware hashes, attacker infrastructure — into something a defender can act on. What is threat intelligence in simple terms?

It is evidence about who is attacking, how they attack, and which indicators to block. Data without context is a blocklist. Intelligence is that data plus source, timing, and how it relates to your assets.

What are the five stages of the threat intelligence lifecycle?
